Year Two - Development

With the four year celebration just a week away, I want to talk about the second year of SOB. This was a transitional period for both the brand and myself. With a dream in mind and product in hand, I began to shift my focus towards exposure. At the same time, I made the move to Bellingham to attend Western. I knew community was an important factor to a successful brand and I began networking within the entrepreneurship program. Doing so presented exposure opportunities such as a spread in the Western Front and vending at local events. Throughout this year, I encountered like-minded individuals who were working towards creating positive changes. This led me to reflect on some of the barriers I had overcome in my own life, and initiated a shift in what State of Bliss stood for. I wanted the brand to be a symbol of change for youth who have encountered similar barriers.
